Sophia is not real, she is a concept. In Greek, sophia (σοφία) represents skill and wisdom in arts. There are multiple representations of a “Sophia” as a symbol for Divine Femininity. Phi, φ, is something that holds a lot of meaning to me as it has depth in mathematics, art, philosophy, language, etc. So to me, as a concept φ represents the transdisciplinarity of humans and nature throughout time. Sophia is a metaphorical figurehead for this concept to me. Hence, this is her book more so than it is mine.
